2010 Ford Mustang
Premium V6 w/ Pony Package
Welcome to my site I hope you find it interesting and inspiring .
I am Craig Voisin , also known on many of the Mustang forums as TxStang . I am an avid automotive enthusiast and a photographer from Gordonville ,Texas near Lake Texoma . I am found just about every weekend in the Dallas Fort Worth areas either attending car shows or doing photography , sometimes its a combination of both . My passion for cars started long ago growing up with uncles and cousins that owned 60's and 70's muscle cars . Back then those were the true muscle cars with the looks and the power to back them up . When I was in High school i had a 1968 Camaro SS that I worked on every spare moment , I regrettably sold that car in the late 80's . I moved on to play in the lowrider minitruck class which was tons of fun with my silver base/faded blue flamed lowrider 1986 Izusu truck .
After getting married in 1990 and starting a family in 1991 I set my car show hobby aside to devote my time to work and family , In 2004 I bought a shiny new silver Mustang Premium package and by 2006 I was hooked back in the car show scene . In 2009 I was in a wreck that sadly totaled my 04 Mustang . Being hit from the back by a Ford F-250 Super Duty shows a Generation 4 Mustang no mercy but I walked away no worse for wear . I can't say the same for the 04 Mustang but I can say this , Ford did a great job insuring the safety of its passengers with a well built car structure.
This brings us to the present , in September of 2009 I took delivery of my brand new 2010 Mustang and right away I started making changes to its appearance , performance and comfort . Many people ask why I bought a V6 Mustang and not GT , they all say the same thing that a V6 can't compare to a V8 . I tend to differ on the matter , I have lots cheaper insurance , better gas mileage , a lighter front end which makes handling much nicer , and I saved an insane amount of money on the price of the car . To me that compares nicely not to mention aftermarket companies like Super Six Motorsports , BBK , SCT , and many more make mods easy and cheap . The improvements will continue as long as I own this Mustang .... I am an enthusiast addicted to taking things to the next level .
In May of 2013 I suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with heart failure which put my automotive hobby on hold for the rest of 2013 and much of 2014 . As of 2015 I continue to work a little on my Mustang and spend time with all my automotive enthusiast friends when I feel up to it which is not nearly as much anymore , my health is top priority in my life now .
I am also a hobby photographer spending just as much time taking photos as I do taking care of my car . I enjoy mixing both my automotive hobby with my photography capturing photos of some great show cars , doing Automotive Pinup photos , landscape and sceneries , lifestyle , and people photos . I do mostly on location photos but when needed I do move indoors to a studio setup given enough notice . I try to avoid heavy photo shopping of my photos and tend to keep with the more natural feel of the moments but when asked for or a creative mood strikes I will play around in the photo shop with a few photos . I worked with a few models over the past couple of years and have shot along side some very talented photographers in the DFW area . I love to get creative with ideas and try to do things that no one else has done , or at least try to add a new and exciting twist to things . It's no big secret that I rather shoot outdoors than indoors , I just love nature and try to get as much of is in my photos as I can . At the rate our woods and grasslands are disappearing in favor of the concrete jungles i want to capture as much of it as I can before its gone or you have to drive hours to see it .
